Show # 3 'Can You Feel Me Dancing'

*Mix show # 1*

Dance Music.
We all have different ideas about what it is.
And you know what?
They are all correct.

What is 'danceable' (hmm, am I inventing words again?) to me, may leave others with furrowed brows (wha-huh?) and vice versa.

My friend Amy knows all too well about this as well.
The Cure... The Smiths... Depeche Mode... VHS Or Beta...
It is only when we hear music like this that we'll say...
"I am ready for the floor."

Amy made me a couple of mixes back in the Spring of this year.
One in particular was entitled 'Can You Feel Me Dancing?'
The title was taken from movie of the same name.
Amy and I would frequently spot it whilst at the video store and giggle and mock the rather silly-sounding title, never actually renting it.

But it made an interesting and poignant title for a mix -a sampling all of our dance music.

This show is not strictly about dancing though. But I won't go on any further about it, since in the show both Amy and I give plenty of commentary.
So you simply will just have to listen for yourself.

  1. Finally! A station on the radio I can actually stand to listen to! I hate and dispise most radio stations because they have one or two good songs followed by 90 really terrible ones. No consistancy! I do try to listen to your show every Tuesday and even though I admit I don't thoroughly enjoy every single song, I don't feel incited to change the station. Keep up the good djing. (Is that a word?)
